We are pleased to nominate Jamie Huff for the open trustee position on our board. Jamie and her husband became members of WPS when they moved to Warren. We are looking forward to her serving on our Board of Trustees.

Jamie Huff has lived in Warren since 2021, when she and her husband, Jacob, purchased the Butterworth House, a 1735 farmhouse on Child Street near Long Lane. She is an associate professor at Bridgewater State University in the Criminal Justice Department, where she teaches courses focused on law and the history of the American legal system. Her current research documents and preserves the history of Bridgewater's 18th century Black and Indigenous communities. Jamie has expertise in archival research, including uncatalogued archives, and often focuses on the difficult task of finding members of marginalized social groups in the historical record.
